This is how you make an impact as an assembler

When a production order comes in, you get to work and handle the assembling process from A to Z. This includes preparation, assembly, and control. In collaboration with your team or autonomously, you meticulously adhere to guidelines while skillfully assembling the products within your purview. 

Your workstations span the manufacturing floor and a pristine clean room, accommodating a range of items from compact PCBA’s to expansive racks and cabinets. Regardless of the scale, your output consistently comprises precisely and impeccably assembled products.

A glimpse into your day-to-day responsibilities entails:

  • Assembling modules, racks, and cabinets both within and outside the cleanroom
  • Executing tasks in accordance with provided instructions
  • Crafting wiring and crimps
  • Utilizing various technical tools effectively

This is your team

As an assembler, you work in a two-shift schedule with a wide range of specialists, such as testers, proto builders, repair analysts and cleaner and packaging specialists. Because as technology evolves, so should methods and processes. This is what you bring to the team

As an assembler, a fusion of technical expertise and a passion for refining processes is crucial. Proficiency in reading technical drawings during product assembly is vital. To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A vmbo or mbo+ qualification in electronics
  • A minimum of 1.5 years’ experience in precision mechanical assembly
  • Competence in tasks like cutting, stripping, and pinching cables and connectors
  • Capability to interpret and comprehend work instructions and wiring lists (in Dutch or English)
  • A robust drive to excel within a two-shift service environment

Your social skills will help you work together and you’re able to communicate about technical subjects in Dutch or English.
